Welcome to Emily Carr University’s Housing Guide

COVID- 19 Housing Update: In order to ensure the safety of all, the federal and provincial governments of Canada have enacted requirements which state that anyone who is entering Canada from abroad self-isolate for a minimum of 14-days upon arrival. At Emily Carr University we understand that some of you may not be able to meet this requirement easily if you have yet to secure housing for Fall 2020.

To this end, we have been able to secure hotel rooms for students who do not have a place to stay upon arrival in Canada. These rooms serve as a means to meet the requirements for a 14-day isolation period. For more information on B.C.’s self-isolation requirements and necessary pre-arrival documents visit: British Columbia’s Self-Isolation Plan.

The cost of the room will be covered by Emily Carr University and will be provided on a first come, first served basis. Please e-mail ospantulescu@ecuad.ca with your full name and student number for further information.
